About Me

Hi my name is Amanda - a wife, mother of 2, homemaker and crafter wanna-be. I have so many loves: baking, crafting, sewing, decorating, organizing, photography, etc. But my biggest loves are my family and my faith. I'm definately a novice when it comes to most things, but I hope you will stick around as I learn day by day.

First of all, I am a wife to the most dashing, brilliant, patient man I know. We've been married 6 years but it feels more like a lifetime (in a good way). He is my best friend and knows me better than anyone else. We are both stubborn and competitive, which results in several "discussions" as we try our hardest to prove we're right. He usually wins because he, like I said, is brilliant. :) He's ready to tackle any project I might think up (right honey?) and is a very hard worker. That being said, he also likes to watch Big Bang Theory or Parks and Rec while munching on some sort of goodie. We're definately made for each other. 

I'm a mother to 2 little kiddos who undoubtedly rule my life. I love being a mother, but it is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. However, the rewards make up for the hard things. My oldest is 3 and just starting preschool. I love the way his mind starts whirling as he discovers new things. He is methodical and a bit goofy. He gets extremely excited to go to the library (maybe we need to get out more.) He pushes my limits, but always melts my heart with his cute dimple. He'll give me a kiss whenever I ask for one. My youngest is 10 months and is already a little firecracker. She wants to be on my hip every minute she's awake. She'll turn you to mush with one of her smiles. She can get anything she wants when she turns on the crocodile tears. My children are beautiful and are precious gifts.
